LI4-Hegu













Location
On the dorsal side of the hand, in the depression, between the two heads of the first dorsal interosseous muscle, level with the midpoint (between head and base) of the second metacarpal.

Action
Eliminates wind (hot, cold, damp, dry), relieves pain, activates perspiration, activates labor, regulates Qi, regulates the lungs Qi, regulates and moistens the colon, softens hard masses, relaxes the sinews.

Combinations
Li-4/ St-36 = general tonifying and strengthening digestion and Wei Qi, Li-4/ L-7 = all head and sensory problems, Yuan - Luo combination, Li-4/ Li-11/ L-7 = all head and respiratory problems, Li-4/ K-7 = induces or arrests perspiration , Li-4/ Sp-6 = move and tonify blood.
